Dan Slade and his wife, Gwen, have been in full-time Christian ministry for 42 years. Dan presently serves as an Apostolic Ambassador for Catch the Fire World. His journey with the Lord has led him from being raised as a conservative Baptist to the Vineyard and then the Toronto Blessing. He and Gwen pastored local churches in Southern Ontario for 10 years before being called as missionaries to Ukraine in 1994, where they lived with their five children for 12 years. There, he became the founder of a renewal church network, which is now Catch the Fire Partners. Returning to Canada from Ukraine, they served under John and Carol Arnott as International Coordinators for Partners in Harvest.

Dan's heart is for the church to be grounded in the Word, theologically sound, and alive to the manifest Presence and Glory of God which He is pouring out on our generation. He has been privileged to share this message in over 35 countries of the world.

We invite you to our ongoing prayer pop-up training. Life for all believers is a school of prayer. Maybe that sounds a little overdramatic, but prayer is what we live and breathe by. Over the last three years especially, we’ve had many Catch The Fire leaders and members join us in a rugged school of prayer for the Ukrainian war, prayer for Israel, and general prayer for revival, especially in Europe.

This year we would like to alternate our monthly pop-up teachings between practical Scripture lessons on prayer as well as biographies of effective prayer heroes from our generation and past generations. Some of the teachings will be repeated from last year sessions, but by God‘s grace we will take a fresh angle on them.
